You then have to dig up the courage and focus needed to sort through all of the wonderful email that you have received while you were away. It would be nice if all the good email floated to the top and then you could delete the rest but of course, that's just wishful thinking. The task of filtering through which email to keep, forward, or delete is at hand.

Are you getting spammed? Are you a spammer?

Let's define this word. Spam is any email that you have received that you did not ask for or do not want. So, it can be simply classified as unwanted or unsolicited email. How much spam do you get in your mailbox on a daily/weekly basis? So, how much is enough spam? Is there a way to stop the madness and take control of your mailbox? Of course there is! Guard your email address with your life.

I recommend that you obtain a free email account to use for any registrations (especially online) that you don't want to receive junk email from.

Avoid forwarding your email address to others.

Clean out all references with your email address and other email addresses before forwarding articles or emails.

Finally, protect your email address (and others) by using the bcc (blind copy) option in your email program.

Are you ready for Windows Vista?

What's the panic about? Why are there so many Windows OS users joining the resistance to avoid Vista at all cost?

I can affirm that despite the hardware and software incompatibility issues that have surfaced, Vista is the way to go. Its look and feel is very new for PC users because its design is very close to the look and feel of the Mac computer (OS) operating system. Take it from a Mac lover, these advances are long overdue. The only problem is which Vista should you have? Well, that's the catch. You need to confirm that your current software is Vista ready BEFORE you upgrade. Also check to see if your hardware (printers, scanners, etc.) will need special drivers to be Vista ready. Bottom line, you won't be able to hold onto Windows XP forever. Eventually, all PC users will need to make the switch. So, don't be alarmed! Just make sure you're informed and take the plunge into the latest technology Microsoft has afforded us with this new operating system. Tell me what you think.
